Rogan is the epitome of a long-time champion at the top of the podcast charts, having held the throne for 15 years since launching his podcast in 2009. Carlson, on the other hand, only took four months to rise to the top spot.
His podcast has featured many prominent guests from across the ideological spectrum, including left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald, fired CBS reporter Catherine Herridge, comedian Ari Schaffer, and Republican Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie.
After parting ways with Fox, Carlson launched the Tucker Carlson Network, a new streaming platform dedicated to “telling the clear, fearless truth about things that matter,” according to his website.
Building on the popularity of his podcast and new network, Carlson has launched a multi-city speaking tour, with front-row tickets to some parts of the tour costing as much as $18,000.
