Tucker Says Capitol Police Chief Told Him Jan. 6 Crowd Was ‘Filled’ With Feds

The Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson said Friday he was told by the Capitol Police Chief that the crowd at the Jan. 6 riot was “full” of federal agents.

Carlson obtained more than 40,000 hours of video footage of the riots after being turned over by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in February. While Carlson was still an anchor on Fox News, he began airing some of the footage.

In a meeting with actor Russell Brand on Friday, Carlson said he was “appalled” by the violence and vandalism he saw on January 6. He said he was “involved in the comment” because “the lie about it was immediate.” “This was a racist, white supremacist rebellion.”

“I interviewed Capitol Police Chief Stephen Sand, but that interview didn’t air on FOX. By the way, I was fired before it aired. I’ll be interviewing him again.” Carlson said. “But Stephen Sand was not political at all, he worked for Nancy Pelosi, which is to say, he was not a right-wing activist. Oh yeah, that crowd was full of federal agents.” what? ‘yes. ‘ Of course he would have known because he was the security officer on the scene. “

“So, as time goes on, it really becomes clear that the core claims they made about January 6th were lies,” Carlson continued. “The amount of lies around January 6th, which was evident from the tapes I showed them, is truly disastrous.” (Related: Kevin McCarthy says he ‘doesn’t regret’ giving J6 footage to Tucker Carlson)

Dominic Pezzola’s attorney, Roger Roots, claimed there were “at least 40” confidential informants in the riot. Roots claimed that eight FBI human sources were embedded in the Proud Boys as of January 6, as well as 13 undercover DC Metro police agents. FBI whistleblower George Hill said in a February interview with the House Special Subcommittee on Federal Weaponization that on Jan. He claimed he may have placed a “classified human intelligence source.”
