Tucson Bicycle Classic Announces Exciting Stage Changes for 2024 Event

36th annual sunny three-day stage race in Tucson, Arizona

Tucson, Arizona – February 6, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Tucson Bicycle Classic, Town of Marana and Town of Oro Valley are excited to announce exciting changes to the race stages for the upcoming 2024 competition. The race, scheduled for Feb. 23-25, is expected to be a special show of northern Pima County's excellent cycling terrain.

New stage location:

1. Stage 1 – February 23: Marana Time Trial. The Tucson Bicycle Classic begins its first stage with an individual time trial event in the scenic town of Marana. Cyclists and spectators alike can look forward to a thrilling race start in a race against the clock against the picturesque backdrop of Marana.

2. Stage 2 – February 24thth – Sahuarita Road Race. Building on last year's success, the second stage will once again be held in the town of Sahuarita and Green Valley. This road race stage will test cyclists' skill and determination while highlighting the great cycling opportunities available in the region.

3. Stage 3 – February 25thth – Oro Valley Circuit Race p/b Rutledge Dental. The grand finale of the Tucson Bike Classic returns to the town of Oro Valley, providing participants and fans with a spectacular conclusion to the event with a fast and technical circuit race around Naranja Park. The beautiful scenery and challenging racetrack of the Oro Valley will definitely provide a fitting end to this classic stage race.

Collaborative efforts:

The strategic decision to move the stage to Marana and Oro Valley is the result of collaboration between the two towns and the Tucson Bicycle Classic organizers. Countless hours have been spent behind the scenes to ensure a seamless transition and improve the overall experience for racers and spectators.
