Gabbard Discusses Deep State and Intelligence Integrity
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle,” Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard expressed her intent to examine the “bad actors” within the intelligence community to restore its integrity for the American public.
Prior to Gabbard’s confirmation, there was notable resistance from Democrats regarding President Trump’s selection. Some Democrats even delayed her confirmation hearing that took place in January. In a recent post, Senator Mark Warner from Virginia questioned Gabbard’s position and called for her dismissal. In response, host Laura Ingraham asked if Gabbard believed Warner was compliant in his role.
“He’s certainly following orders like a reliable soldier,” Gabbard remarked, comparing Warner’s tactics to those often employed by established political figures when confronted about issues that may not align with America’s best interests. She questioned whether these actions genuinely contribute to the nation’s safety and freedom.
“Who are these people in the deep state? What does it consist of? We’re witnessing some of it unfold now,” she continued. Gabbard urged Americans to remain skeptical of mainstream media and to approach their messages with a critical mindset.
It seems that the Democrats and mainstream media might be downplaying both the 2016 Russian interference narrative and the FBI’s new intelligence findings. Gabbard also revealed documents in July claiming that some former Obama administration officials manipulated Russian investigations against Trump during his presidency, which Republicans have criticized as hoaxes pushed by Democrats.
Ingraham questioned why agencies like the FBI and CIA continue to receive funding given their roles in the Russian narrative. Gabbard responded by revisiting Warner’s claims of her being a national security threat, arguing that she was, in fact, exposing the truth.
“As the DNI, my role involves identifying and removing bad actors within the intelligence community,” she stated, emphasizing that national security depends on this effort. Gabbard insisted that the integrity of the democratic system necessitates transparency and accountability.
Following the release of this information, she announced plans to introduce charges against former President Obama linked to the investigation of Russian interference. Recently, the Department of Justice has initiated a significant investigation into alleged conspiracies involving Obama administration officials and their participation in what has been labeled the Russian hoax.
