Tupac Shakur’s Family Reportedly Hires Lawyer To Investigate Allegations That Diddy Ordered His Murder

Tupac Shakur's family has reportedly hired a lawyer and is prepared to sue if the allegation that Diddy ordered Shakur's murder is proven.

Keef D, who is currently incarcerated for Shakur's murder, claims that Diddy ordered Shakur's murder. TMZDiddy has been rumored to be behind the legendary rapper's murder for years, but things have only heated up since the arrest of Keef D. After hearing the allegations against Diddy, Shakur's family hired attorneys Alex Spiro and Christopher Clore to oversee the case, as well as a team of investigators to look into Keef D's claims, sources tell TMZ.

Although the charges against Diddy have not been proven in court, Shakur's family isn't taking any chances.

TMZ's sources say the late rapper's family is prepared to pursue Diddy with the full force of the law if the investigation turns up any evidence that could link him to Shakur's murder.

Keef D claims he was acting on Diddy's orders, and that Diddy offered him and his associates large sums of money to kill Shakur in the '90s, the outlet reported. Keef D also reportedly claimed he was offered as much as $1 million for the job.

According to TMZ, authorities never investigated Diddy for Shakur's death, and Las Vegas police didn't take Keef D's accusations seriously. Shakur's family is now reportedly looking into the accusations in hopes of finding evidence that corroborates Keef D's recollection.

According to the outlet, Shakur's family intends to turn over any evidence they find to authorities and seek criminal charges against Diddy. There is no statute of limitations for murder charges, so if the family finds evidence, they will be in the right legal position. According to TMZ, the family has also raised the possibility of a wrongful death lawsuit, which could be filed if they find evidence that could help move the case forward.

Spiro has years of experience investigating cold cases, including the Robert Durst and Tiger King cases, and is an experienced expert on such cases.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
