Two Arrested After Teen Escapes Alleged Kidnappers Who Raped, Chained Her To Bed For Week

Two suspects were arrested in Texas on Sunday in connection with the alleged rape and confinement of a teenage girl by a kidnapper.

The 18-year-old victim was chained to a bed and sexually abused for weeks at his home in northern Harris County before being called to police on Sunday. according to to Kou. Prosecutors arrested Jose Reyes, 30, and Jacqueline Macias, 29, and charged them with kidnapping. Reyes’ bond was set at $100,000 and Macias’ bond was set at $50,000.

Officer Mark Harman said the young woman met Reyes at an undisclosed location and was invited to go home with him. Macias was present when the victim arrived at the house, and the suspects locked her in a room chained to her bed and raped her for about a month. “The male suspect gave her confidence and seemed to be happy to meet her somewhere and come back,” Herman said.

Reports said the victims fled when Reyes and Marcias temporarily left their homes. She went door to door in the Foxwood area for help. One unidentified woman claims she was barefoot and shivering when her victim came to her home.

According to KHOU, Herman said, “She did everything in her power to get out of the restraints and out the door.” She said, “She was confused and confused like everyone else and wanted help.”

There were marks of restraint on the victim’s arms and legs. KHOU reported that she was taken to a hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

Reyes and Marcia may be charged additional fees. The suspects are a married couple who gave birth to a baby during the same period in which the woman was held captive and sexually abused.
