Two-Time Olympian Maureen Koster Knocked Unconscious Mid-Race, Forced To Go To Hospital

Maureen Costera Dutch athlete was placed in the hospital after she was unconsciously knocked and suffered a “mild concussion”. 3,000m final It was held at the European indoor championships on Sunday. The event took place in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. (Related: The high school track runner is said to have attacked the opponent by blowing her into his head with a baton in the middle of the race.)

The two-time Olympic athlete, Coster fell after stumbling over his opponent at close to 1,000m points in the competition. According to a replay of her fall, Coster rolled onto the truck, which led to her head bouncing off the ground.

Coster was immediately knocked out and accordingly apparently moved to the trackside immediately where she was treated by the Medic. The 3,000m final was then held. Coster, a mid-distance runner, was taken to hospital, and it was confirmed that she was conscious and responsive that ultimately led to Dutch athletics.

Damn it… what’s going on with all the weird stuff in athletics these days?

As mentioned above, I recently wrote about a high school track athlete blowing up his head with an OPP baton. Something rough.

Luckily she’s good.

“What happened last night still feels unrealistic,” Coster said. Instagram. “Thankfully, aside from a mild concussion, a few bruises and a broken heart, I’m fine. I really hope to get back to my feet soon!”
