UConn Basketball Staffer Allegedly Threatens To Ruin Reporter’s Life Over Viral Dan Hurley Video

If this is true, this is wild.

After seeing them bounce off the NCAA Tournament after UConn’s loss against Florida on Sunday, Husky head coach Dan Hurley went viral for the skipper, clearing some… *throats to the Baylor basketball team.

Joey Ellis, a Queen City News reporter, was the one who filmed the video.

You’d think that was the end of it… to the next story…but things escalated dramatically.

Ellis claims that the scene’s location has been open to the press and allowed to record it, but Bobby Mullen, UConn director of Men’s Basketball Communications, says that’s not the case. (Related: UConn’s Dan Hurley gives vulgar advice to the entire Baylor team after his two-year reign ends)

A video was posted and after Mullen took it on a whim, he confronted him in the presslow searching for Ellis. According to Appeal From Ellis, Mullen demands that the footage be removed from social media, and if he does not, he “smashes” his “f*cking Life.”

Ellis refused to defeat the video. This is said to have continued Maren’s attempts to inflict trouble on Ellis. Ellis also claims that four other media members were witnesses on the scene.

Grab your popcorn, women, gentlemen… we’re on this story.
