Omot, a sophomore at Mankato, finished with 15 points but was 0-of-7 on 3-pointers.

UND led 41-30 at halftime, but the Jacks tied the game 48-48 with 12:55 left in the second half.

In fact, the Hawks' comeback was delayed to force a tough finish.

Two free throws by Oakland Fort with 96 seconds left gave NAU a 72-66 lead.

After NAU's Trenton McLaughlin missed a 3-pointer, Brady Danielson made two free throws to extend the lead to 72-71 with 59 seconds left.

Leading 73-72 with 34 seconds left, Eli King made a fast-break basket to briefly give UND the lead.

NAU regained the lead when McLaughlin scored with 22 seconds left at 74-73.

Omot missed a 3-point shot with five seconds left for the win. Omot took another 3-point shot at the buzzer off Danielson's offensive rebound, but it missed.

Following Omot's 15 points, UND got 14 points from Eagle Staff, who made 4 of 8 3-pointers. Tsotne Tsartshidze added 13 points and King had nine points.

Diego Campisano led NAU with 18 points.
