Understanding Death, Bardo and Rebirth

Sedona News – We are honored to present the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) of Yabapai College. The Journey Over there: Understanding Death, Bardo, and Rebirtha deep exploration of the ultimate transition of life through the Tibetan Buddhist perspective, from 9:30am to 11:30am on Monday, April 14th. Presentations are free.

Venerable Geshe Phuntsho

This special event, led by the highly respected Buddhist scholar and teacher, venerable Ges Pruncho, guides the philosophical and practical aspects of preparation for death, navigates Bardo, an intermediate nation between life and death, embracing rebirth with cleanliness and peace. The program is designed to bring comfort and understanding to those who contemplate the nature of being beyond death, and offers wisdom from ancient Tibetan traditions that are still deeply connected today.

“The event offers an extraordinary opportunity to explore one of the greatest mysteries of life with respected teachers,” said Patricia Belllow, director of Oli at Yabapai University. “Participants will gain meaningful insights that will help them increase awareness and tranquility and approach the end of their lives.” Whether they seek personal growth, greater peace, or deeper wisdom, the program offers valuable guidance.
