With just weeks left until the end of President Biden’s term, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is set to lose her job soon, and a panel of media luminaries are wondering what she’ll do next. He gave his opinion to the Daily Caller about whether to do so.
The consensus seems to be that KJP performed poorly at the White House, even though many think he did poorly. Like her predecessor Jen Psaki, she will likely find a safe haven as a contributor on a cable news show.
“She’ll go where other failed Hollywood actors who have fallen out of favor with the deep state go,” said Daily Caller alumnus and media veteran Kay Hill. “It’s a cable chat show that exists solely to sell products.” .
NewsBusters Editor-in-Chief Curtis Hock agreed, adding, “I fully expect someone to hire her as a contributor, whether it’s a return to MSNBC or a return to CNN.” Ta.
Jean-Pierre’s predecessor, Jen Psaki, left the Biden White House in 2022 to host her own show, “Inside with Jen Psaki,” on MSNBC.

But KJP’s history of lies and deceit should disqualify her from future cable news pundit jobs, Hock added.
“In a meritocratic world, Karine Jean-Pierre would lose her job in TV news,” he told the Caller. “It’s still remarkable to me that she spent years as an established cable news pundit, sitting through long segments where guests had to think for themselves and get beyond the talking points.” It’s worth it.
But some have pointed out that her dishonesty actually makes her the perfect candidate for TV news.
““KJP was so stupid, so dishonest, and so bad at his job that I can only assume he’ll be on CBS News next year,” said Molly Hemingway, bestselling author and editor-in-chief of The Federalist magazine. states. he said to the caller.
But KJP’s light-hearted MSNBC show is not a foregone conclusion, Emily Jasinski, UnHerd’s DC correspondent and co-host of “Breaking Points,” told The Daily Caller.
Jasinski said KJP’s influence is likely to be less than that of past press secretaries, citing bad publicity during President Biden’s tenure.
“Biden’s brand is bad now, even on the left. “Given that Psaki resigned before the wheels of the government really started to crumble, it may be difficult for someone like KJP to get a high-profile job like Jen Psaki on MSNBC.” Mr. Ski said.
Others agreed with Jasinski’s assessment, pointing out that Jean-Pierre has a false record that will likely be difficult to reverse.
“Where will she go to wash away the devastating lies she has told the American people about Biden’s condition? ” Scott Jennings, a popular conservative commentator on CNN and a new member of the LA Times editorial board, told the Caller. “She is at the center of the biggest scandal going on in American politics,” he concluded.
Jean-Pierre repeatedly defended President Biden’s mental health and acuity, despite the clearly significant decline in the president’s mental capacity.
In June, he dismissed a video of the president wandering aimlessly at a G7 summit as a “cheap fake” and accused the media that reported the video of deceptive editing. (Related: Biden’s public decline tests the limits of White House spin operations)

Jean-Pierre jumped to the president’s defense numerous other times over the summer, touting his mental strength leading up to and beyond the disastrous debate performance that led to his resignation from the campaign. I continued to do so.
Jean Pierre said Reporters said on July 3 that Biden was “as sharp as ever.” Less than three weeks later, Biden resigned. (Related article: No matter how furious they are, no one in the White House press corps is going to call KJP a liar.)
Just recently, KJP was caught red-handed lying about Hunter Biden’s pardon.
Jean-Pierre told reporters multiple times that Biden would not forgive his son Hunter.
“We’ve been asked that question many times, and our answer is no,” she said in November.

Less than three weeks later, Biden granted Hunter a sweeping pardon.
Despite her clear record of misconduct, there seems no doubt that Jean-Pierre will bounce back.
Houck noted that she may return to work as a spokesperson for left-wing organizations, similar to her previous job as an advocate for MoveOn.org.
Other experts have floated the idea of a seven-figure book deal.
“The obvious path for her is a classic Spox role: a big book with a gift advance and an appearance on a cable news channel that favors her.” Wilfred rileya political science professor at Kentucky State University, told The Caller.
Riley noted that this path is not unusual for former cabinet members, pointing to Psaki’s work at MSNBC and former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove’s role as a Fox News contributor.

An internal investigation into Biden’s White House books seems likely. Each of the past five press secretaries has written a book about their time in the West Wing.
“Carine Jean-Pierre’s actions are one thing and a revelation,” New York Post columnist Karol Markowitz told the Caller. “A six- to seven-figure book deal makes sense, especially as the media is finally starting to hold themselves accountable for who knew about the president’s declining state. She has a front-row seat to I was on the edge of my seat, and of course I can see it now!” she concluded.
