sedona news – Sedona Women’s College will host its next informational program on Monday, October 7 at 9:30 a.m. with Maudelle Terry presenting “How to Complain and Win.” Mr. Mordell lived in Europe for four years. While there, she paid close attention to how other countries handle complaints and added those observations to her training in business etiquette. Working as a TV news reporter helped her develop a stronger voice and attitude, which was most helpful when making complaints.
Terry's business and consulting career began in 1968 at the Urban League of San Francisco, where he was hired as a reporter for ABC-TV7 in San Francisco. Her broadcasting career included several appearances in television shows and commercials. Her career is extensive and includes work at Levi Strauss, IBM, and the local Sedona Community Foundation. She and her family traveled all over the world and lived in the Netherlands and England. She is also the author of Grandma Baker's Rules for Understanding Life and People.
This conference is open to women in the Verde Valley who are interested in this topic and an opportunity to network with other women involved in the advancement of women through education, and are invited to attend this or future conferences.
