Scientists have discovered an “unusually large” scaly, crocodile-like animal in a tree in southern Mexico. As it turned out, it was a new species and could not be detected because it was inside the leaves.

Researchers searched for the rare creature in five different expeditions between 2015 and 2022 after receiving “interesting photos” of the creature that appeared in 2014, according to one report. PLOS One Journal Survey. They stressed that the search for the animal had been “extremely difficult”. Blogging about animals like this makes me feel like Ron McGill of the Daily Caller. I feel like he's the Miami Zoo hierarchy and I'm the Washington DC he's Mr. 305…I think we're going to get through that tag too.
