Maricopa's Elena Trails property, a new development slated to include more than 450 homes on 111 acres, is under new ownership.

Elena Trails, located at the southeast corner of Murphy Road and Farrell Road in Maricopa, is a planned community with zoning and preliminary planning approvals already in place. The press release states that all of the estimated 456 residential lots are free of flood plain constraints, mitigating common challenges experienced in the Maricopa submarket.

Once the master plan is complete, prices are expected to start in the low $300s.

Walton Global, a Scottsdale-based real estate investment and land asset management company, acquired the property.

“Walton Global is proud of the momentum our Builder Land Finance program has achieved this year, and the acquisition of Elena Trails marks another important milestone in the expansion of this business line.” said Paul Bay, vice president of portfolio management at Walton Global. “We are ending the year on a strong note and look forward to the beneficial opportunities this program will bring to investors, home builders and ultimately home buyers in 2024.”

The Elena Trail in northwestern Pinal County provides residents with easy access to Phoenix, close to Highway 347 and Interstate 10.

Elena Trails is located near the recently built Tortosa master planned community on land previously owned by Walton Global and sold to homebuilder DR Horton.
