Below is an update from Max Bledsoe, President of the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.
Good morning, members of the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. As most of you already know, Loretto Stewart has resigned from his position as President of our Chamber of Commerce. She would like to thank Lorette for her many years of service. In particular, we appreciate the large amount of relevant information you provided that will help us succeed in the future. I wish Loretto all the best in her next endeavor.
In the meantime, I am enlisting the help of experts from the local Chamber of Commerce. Sheri Heiney, President and CEO of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, shares her 20+ years of personal expertise in running Chambers of Commerce, as well as membership file management, financial analysis, short- and long-term Financial planning, compliance with bylaws, and board development.
In addition, former Executive Director of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce, John Cortis (see bio below) has offered to serve as Interim Director of Volunteers. While searching for Loretto’s replacement, John Chino becomes the face of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.
It’s an exciting time for the Chino Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce and our future looks bright. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact John or me. In the meantime, let’s embrace all these changes and work together for a better Chino Valley.
thank you,
Max Bledsoe
Chairman, Chino Valley District Chamber of Commerce
