USGS reports Earthquake in Chino Valley

Yavapai County, Arizona — Ann Earthquake hits central Arizona Sunday afternoon in Yavapai County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The magnitude 3.8 quake struck just over a mile southeast of Chino Valley. The USGS said the accident occurred just before 2:00 p.m.

The epicenter of the quake was near Center Street and Railroad Avenue.

It is unknown if there was any damage from the earthquake.

Back in May, the USGS reported an earthquake in northern Arizona. A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck Coconino County near the community of Cameron.
