Valley man, known as ‘Daniel Donkey,’ sentenced to prison for child sex trafficking

Pinal County, Arizona — This week a surprise man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for seducing a 15-year-old girl on Snapchat and having sex with a minor at Casa Grande.

Joel DSanto, 47, pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking and aggravated seduction of minors and was convicted in Pinal County Superior Court on Monday, it was reported. Pinal County Attorney’s Office.

DSanto, who is a registered sex offender with a criminal record in Illinois and Michigan, was identified by the Casa Grande police department as a Snapchat user who was exchanging messages with a teenage girl. He was later arrested in North Phoenix last December.

The girl’s family found sexually explicit images and messages on her mobile phone that suggested she was seeing an older man.

According to the PCAO, the girl told investigators that she met a man known as “Daniel Donkey” on Snapchat and agreed to have sex for money. The victim also revealed that her mother needed money to pay her rent.

Police obtained a search warrant to search the Snapchat account and gathered evidence identifying the account’s creator as DiSanto.

Defendant will be put on lifelong probation after completing his sentence at the Arizona Department of Corrections.
