A kosher restaurant in Washington, D.C., was vandalized late Saturday night on the anniversary of the Nazi pogrom Kristallnacht, its founder said.
Char Bar founder Michael Chelst told Talkline Communications radio host Zev Brenner that by 10 p.m., at least one person had thrown a brick at the restaurant’s two street-facing impact windows. He said it was damaged.
As far as Chelst knows, Charles Bar was the only business in the area to be attacked.

The organizations said they are working with the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and local authorities to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
