VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Who Caused The Counter-Revolution?

At some point, some presidents would have had to stop unsustainable spending and borrowing.

To get any country to leave, some presidents would have had to ultimately restore non-existent borders and stop the influx of three million illegal aliens a year.

Some commanders will finally need to try and stop the theatrical wars overseas.

But the president who deliberated to do either of these things will be bothered by suppressing the insanity that his predecessor had fueled.

And no one did – until now.

Since the rapid and massive implementation of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal Management State, Americans have never seen radical changes like Trump’s first governance quickly. (Related: Victor Davis Hanson: Tom Hanks, Margaret Brennan, Minister of Europe – revealing it all)

By restoring the common sense of recent past, Americans see a much-anticipated counterrevolution and separating the country from its insanity.

The US flag is set to take place near the Capitol in Washington, DC on January 18, 2025, as the US capital prepares for the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump. Donald Trump confirmed that his inauguration as US president on January 20 will move indoors due to expected freezing weather, undermining Republicans’ hopes for an epic spectacle to kick his second term. Massive debts are easy to master, and hard to pay off. Politicians benefit from grants and employ thousands of people with other people’s money or by increasing their debt and creating new programs.

However, it is unpopular and it is considered “mean” to spend only what you have and create a lean, capable workforce.

1776, not 1619, is the basic day of America.

Biological men should not manipulate larger sizes and strengths to undermine the hard-working outcomes of female athletes.

Affordable fossil fuels, when used wisely, are essential to modern prosperity.

Education in America must remain empirical and inductive, rather than regressing to indoctrination and deduction. If the university campus no longer complies with the Bill of Rights, they will likely need to pay taxes on the income from the donations to guarantee their own student loans.

If American citizens are arrested and arrested for violent assault, destruction of property, or resisting arrest, then certainly foreign students who break the host’s law should be held in the same account and will go home if they feel guilty.

The plunder of government, assigned by tribalism and racism, and superficial appearance, is the mark of a pre-civilized society. Such racism leads only to infinite factions and discord.

Borders are easy to destroy, and difficult to rebuild. And it wasn’t Trump who invited the 12 million unaudited, illegal aliens, but half a million of them.

Who is the real culprit of the Department of Defense? What about a new secretary who has the difficult challenge of restoring ideas among the depleted classes that our race, religion, and gender are not essential to defeating our enemies and ensuring national security?

Is it really wise to divert money from the necessary combat units and weapons to incite recruits with a presumably weakening social and cultural agenda?

Who is the real ruthless actor – is Elon Musk trying to prevent the country from bankruptcy by eliminating fraud and waste, or is there anyone who first bloated bureaucracy, or who has bloated with work and subsidies for their members, friends, clients and peers? (Related: Victor Davis Hanson: Myths about Musk)

No one likes firing FBI agents.

That certainly is an unpleasant job for new FBI director Kash Patel.

But again, who is the real culprit who turned the sacred agenda into a weaponized tool to turn elections, enemy harassment, oaths, school board meetings, inspecting parents, monitoring doctor court documents, and weaponized tools to protect internal friends?

Large borrowing is an opiate addiction that requires impact treatment and not a more deficit to break the habit. An unidentified state of control becomes an organic organism that exists only because it is greater, more powerful, more powerful and resistant to those who are trying to suppress it.

But those who brought about the last year’s cultural revolution are crying out that it is unfair to restore what they have weakened. It’s as if the patient is only condemning strict chemotherapy and not the invasive cancer that it is trying to cure.

Most of Trump’s people are not high five while firing people. They have not directed them to fire miners and frackers and dismiss half of the country as “deplorable.”

On the left, people who are tasked with balancing their budgets and pruning the bureaucracy of strangleholds scream.

No, pathetic are those who recklessly hired with borrowed money, tried to fire people based on race, used federal programs to feather their nests and harassed them for their politics.

Currently, no SWAT team is raiding the former president’s home.

No one is trying to take the president’s rival out of the national vote.

Everyone coordinates local, state and federal prosecutors to indict, harass and bankrupt the former president.

And the president – his dementia, covered by political insiders and Todish media, does not work three days a week, avoiding press conferences or reporters’ questions.

It is no wonder that the current normality seems abnormal to the recent past situation.
