Video Appears To Show Hamas Terrorists Kidnapping Israeli Hostages On Oct. 7

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday released video footage that appears to show Hamas terrorists kidnapping Israeli hostages in the Oct. 7 surprise attack that sparked the current war in Gaza.

Footage posted on X by the advocacy group Bring Them Home Now shows Hamas operatives taking hostages during the attack that killed more than 1,200 people. The IDF also video Online on Monday.

The post said the families of the victims, who are believed to still be held in Hamas custody as Israel works to eliminate the terrorist group, had approved the release of the footage. The video, which is just under two minutes long, shows the terrorists forcing the bloody hostage at gunpoint into the back of a pickup truck before five gunshots can be heard as the terrorists appear to fire into a house, then can be heard shouting “Allah is great” as they appear to transport the prisoner to another location.

In one scene, a terrorist can be seen lifting one of the hostages' head by his hair to take a selfie, while another is seen holding the severed part of an arm that was cut off during the attack. The terrorist group released a video of the hostage being held captive with part of his arm severed. CBS News.

Michael Levy, the brother of one of the hostages, told the outlet he found the video “horrifying.”

“There was nothing I could do on the most terrifying day of his life,” Levy told CBS News. “I'd never seen him so scared in my life.”
