Video Captures Shocking Near Miss As Tree Falls On City Street

The video was filmed the moment a tree fell on a family of three walking through the streets of Brooklyn.

Shelley and Ben Caltyne I said PIX11 They believe that God is responsible for getting them out of an unharmed situation.

“The first reaction was shocking. Secondly, we realized that this was from God and God saved us, so all we could do was dance and thank God for saving us in that moment,” Ben told the outlet.

“We were Jews and it was definitely God. There is no doubt about it, so I believe he put us there for reasons and that it happened in front of our eyes and placed us there to save us for reasons,” Shelley added.

Shelley said she noticed the tree as the couple passed by, commenting that “it looks like a thousand years ago” before continuing their walk.

Home security footage captures the moment it unfolds. The three can be seen walking down the sidewalk. As soon as they pass by, a large tree snaps and falls towards the street. Three will turn temporarily in shock and then start running when the tree falls to the ground.

The three of them made it safely, so Ben can be seen dancing on the video.

“We’re just standing there in complete and complete shock, as we see in the video,” she said. (Related: “What are odds?”: Tree falls into a car out of nowhere, killing a young Washington couple: Report)

“I took my left arm and pushed my wife to save her, and yeah, a tree was coming down on us,” Ben said. “If we hadn’t run we wouldn’t have done it.”
