Demi Moore’s exchange with fellow actress Elle Fanning at the Golden Globes went viral after fans accused Moore of snogging Kylie Jenner in the video clip.
Hollywood drama has been brewing ever since Moore was spotted hugging Fanning and seemingly ignoring Jenner’s compliments on her big win. Rumors spread on Monday after clips of the Jan. 5 exchange began circulating on the internet. Social media users began accusing Jenner of ignoring her after Moore appeared to lean in to Fanning for a sneaky hug. Apparently, the celebrity abuse allegations sparked a firestorm of online trolls, with Moore’s daughter Talulah Willis responding to the allegations by coming to her mother’s defense.

On January 6, Willis posted an image of her mother’s big win on Instagram on a merry-go-round. She kept things light and celebratory until she praised Moore’s accomplishments and posted a few images to her Instagram Story, but then the tone changed.
She addressed the topic head-on, vehemently denying rumors that her mother was intentionally disrespectful to Jenner, who was attending the awards show as Timothée Chalamet’s plus-one.
“Nip this straight in the bud,” Willis began.

“We spent New Year’s with Elle [Fanning]So it was very natural for me to connect with her after the win, and this angel was moving around the warm room of blessings in complete shock and joy,” she said, referring to Moore. He came out and spoke.
“If she was looking at KJ, there was no disrespect of any kind. [Jenner] If I wanted to celebrate her, I would have given her plenty of time and space,” Willis said.
And she accused internet trolls of creating drama that she claims doesn’t exist.

“Let’s literally put everything to rest and let the girls enjoy their accomplishments,” Willis wrote in an attempt to lessen the harshness of her criticism of her mother. (Related article: Demi Moore takes a tough stance on condescending producers after achieving huge success)
Moore won her first Golden Globe Award for her role in “Substance,” and gave a moving acceptance speech that brought the audience to tears.
Moore has not directly addressed the allegations.
