After college, Kathy lived in Los Angeles and New York, where she worked for various entertainment magazines and even the rather seedy tabloids that reported on Brad and Angelina’s world travels and Britney Spears’ wardrobe malfunction. Her first book, The City of Bones, which includes, but is not limited to, the rest of her The Mortal Instruments series, The Infernal, became the New York Times and her USA Today #1 bestseller.
