The Arizona Department of Tourism presented the awards at the Governor’s Tourism Awards Gala in Tucson on July 11.
Yuma, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Visit Yuma has received the Best Marketing Campaign Award from the Arizona Tourism Authority for its strategic and creative approach to attracting domestic and international tourists to Arizona. won in the category.
Visit Yuma’s “Soak Up Every Minute” campaign displayed outdoor activities at different times of the day to encourage and inspire people to explore Yuma.
Visit Yuma partners with marketing and communications company JayRay to create print, digital and billboard advertising.

The awards ceremony will take place during the Arizona Tourism Governors’ Conference, and the awards recognize marketers, innovators and ambassadors for the Arizona tourism industry.
The awards are reviewed and administered by the Arizona Tourism Authority, and marketing programs and campaigns are submitted for the awards, according to a press release.
A visit to Yuma is rewarded with the Cosanti Bell, a bronze wind chime crafted using handcrafted techniques and traditional designs by Cosanti Originals of Paradise Valley.
