Vivek Ramaswami said on Fox News on Wednesday that Democrats are “scamming” the very demographic they claim to protect: the poor.
During the period exterior In “The Ingram Angle,” Ramaswami portrayed the Democratic Party as a puppet controlled by a global elite that includes prominent figures like Alex Soros. host Ramaswami argued that a fundraiser for Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, held at his Manhattan home, highlighted undue political influence.
“So I'm not against being a billionaire. I'm talking to someone who's lived the American Dream myself,” Ramaswamy told Laura Ingraham, “but what I am against is the puppet-like approach that we see in the Democratic Party right now. Look at the picture of Alex Soros standing next to Tim Waltz. If you squint your eyes closely, you can see the puppet master pulling the strings.”
“I think this is the ultimate irony. The party that tells poor people in this country that the rich are scamming you is the very rich person spreading that message and scamming them,” he added. “What's the problem here? We have a situation where those in power are essentially stoking the woke. They're telling you, they're making you feel like a victim for your own good, so they can maintain more power for their own gain.” (Related article: Waltz shows how normal he is by dating America's worst nepotism babe)
The entrepreneur and political commentator also linked this tactic to broader foreign policy issues, specifically criticizing the ongoing war in Ukraine. He echoed former President Donald Trump's call for peace in the region, as opposed to a “global establishment” that wants to perpetuate the conflict.
“Nowhere is this more evident than in foreign policy. I don't think the war in Ukraine is in America's best interests, and Donald Trump is right to want to bring peace to that conflict,” he continued. “But you can see the world establishment trying to push this war in a way that is not in America's interests. The same with the climate change agenda. It doesn't help America at all.”
Soros has poured millions of dollars into Democratic campaigns and abortion rights efforts through his Democratic PAC since taking over leadership from his father, George Soros, according to campaign finance records. The Soros family's Democratic PAC has spent about $40 million since the change of administration, shifting its focus from criminal justice issues to directly supporting Democratic efforts to keep the White House.
