PHOENIX — Greenlee County saw a 3% increase in registered voters following the November general election.
That’s according to data released Friday by the Arizona Secretary of State’s office.
Greenlee County saw a 2% increase in Democrats to 1,481. Republicans increased him by 3.5% to 1,788. Independents increased by 3.3% to his 1,491.
Graham County voter numbers have remained statistically flat and increased 5/10 of 1% in the final quarter of 2022.
The Republican Party increased by 1% to 9,906. Independents increased three-tenths to 5,043. Democrats fell 1% to 4,537, down 0.3.
Graham County has a total of 19,595 registered voters, while Greenlee has 4,809 as of January 2023. Nearby Cochise County’s voter count rose 1.3% to his 78,383.
Statewide, voter rolls increased four-tenths to 4.2 million.
Independents continue to outpace the two major parties in Arizona, winning 10,635 new voters. Republicans won her 6,290 new voters, while Democrats won only her 69.
