Voting underway in Yuma and Imperial Counties

Update (2:15 p.m.): Yuma County Government’s Facebook page provides up-to-date information on wait times at vote centers in the county.

UPDATE (12:18 p.m.): One Imperial County reporter says at least 10 people are voting at Calexico United Methodist Church.

UPDATE (12:01 p.m.): One polling place in the Valley isn’t seeing much activity, according to one of our Imperial County reporters.

Our reporter said several candidates were at the location.

Back in Yuma County, the Yuma County Government Facebook page provides up-to-date information on wait times at vote centers across the county.

Update (11:47 a.m.): Reporters Daniel Burke North and Eduardo Morales provide the latest information on voting across Yuma County.

UPDATE (11:28 a.m.): According to one reporter, there were long lines inside the 3C building at Arizona Western College (AWC) and people waited in line for two hours to vote. There are some voters who say that

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Voting is underway in Yuma County on Tuesday, with voters in the county lining up to cast their votes.

According to one of our reporters, there is a line at the Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Career Center at 300 S. 13th Street with an hour and a half wait time.

One reporter also said that in the Foothills, 200 people voted at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, 11545 East 40th Street, and there was a two-hour wait.

At the Yuma Civic Center, one reporter said more than 100 people had voted and had been waiting an hour and a half.

However, there is a one-hour wait time at the Yuma Book Library, located at 2951 S. 21st Street.
