Joe and Micah have taken a knee, but Donald Trump continues to win.
Tragic Trump haters visited Mar-a-Lago over the weekend of Nov. 15 to make peace with the president-elect. They explained their reasons for doing so on Monday morning’s confessional show.
“We disagreed on a lot of issues and I told him that,” Scarborough explained. “What we agreed to was to resume communication,” Brzezinski continued.

“Don’t get me wrong, we’re not here to defend or normalize Donald Trump,” Joe warned as MSNBC viewership numbers boiled over. “We’re here to report on him” and bring you the news during “this very disturbing time.”

Okay, sure — but does anyone believe how this meeting actually went? That the three equals politely met to break bread again? It’s hell.
As they admitted on air, Joe and Micah publicly begged for a chance to sit with the president, their first meeting in seven years. They don’t deserve it, but Trump is far from merciful. After all, they’re old friends, so he’ll probably keep them in their happy place. But only a little, and not before twisting the knife.
