Thule inland port faces major backlash from residents
a Proposed inland port Thule County residents face significant backlash from locals. Residents argue that the port, which uses unincorporated land in the county, increases noise, traffic and pollution, driving up the cost of living.

The city council has decided to move forward with a resolution authorizing the Utah Inland Port Authority to investigate the project. They plan to discuss further steps in June 2023.
