Tight end Dalton Kincaid wore a Flagstaff Fire Department beanie in the pregame photo, and firefighters were quick to praise Kincaid.

The fire department said in a Facebook post that Kincaid is a “close friend” of one of the firefighters and has “tremendous respect” for them.

“As Arizona natives, we have a duty to support and love the Arizona Cardinals, but it’s important to show Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid a little love,” the post said. “As horrific fires continue to wreak havoc across California, Dalton chooses to wear an FFD beanie to let people know he’s thinking of the brave firefighters across the country.”

The Bills won the playoff game 27-25 and advanced to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since the 2020 season.

“Thank you so much Dalton! We’re rooting for you from Arizona!!!,” the post read.
