Expect brilliant leaves in the Rocky Mountains. Areas like Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, northern New Mexico, and Arizona are predicted to have striking colors. Places such as Flagstaff, Sedona, and Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona are likely to impress with breathtaking autumn views.

While vibrant foliage is expected in much of New England and the Midwest, it might not last long. The lack of color in the Appalachian and Smoky Mountains has been linked to heavy rains and floods in spring and early summer. When Will Arizona’s Autumn Colors Peak?
