Which cities have received more snow than Flagstaff this season?

The National Weather Service posted a map of seven cities that have received more snow than Flagstaff so far this season.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — This winter, travelers and Arizonans alike have questions. That is, where is the snow on the flag?

Flagstaff, famous for its snow bowl, snow-covered mountains and all things winter, has had precious few storms this season. In fact, there’s so little snow that the National Weather Service in Flagstaff has compiled a list of seven cities with more snowfall than Flagstaff this season.

And the city may surprise you.

According to the NWS Flagstaff, these seven cities have received more snowfall than Flagstaff this season, according to a post on X. The northern Arizona city has received just 2.8 inches of snow so far this year.

What is the usual amount so far? 42.3 inches!

  • Amarillo, Texas: 10.7″
  • Little Rock, AR: 9″
  • Memphis, Tennessee: 7.5″
  • Lafayette, Louisiana: 6.5″
  • Baytown, Texas: 5.5″
  • Beaumont, Texas: 5.2″
  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: 3.6″
