What the hell is this?
2024 has been a disastrous season for the Chicago White Sox, and 2025 hasn’t gotten any better.
Sunday’s game between the White Sox and Los Angeles Angels delay When it was raining during the seventh inning. After that, it wasn’t that long, but the wind started chopping. They don’t call it a “wind city”! (Related: Minor League Baseball Teams reveal that they are the most legendary hot dogs of all time)
Well, the White Sox ground crew didn’t seem to know this weather was coming.
The crew was running across the field to get the tarp out, but the weight of the rain prevented them from covering the entire infield. Along the way, the tarp gets stuck, and the crew is forced to get what is right in front of them to make sure the rest of the infield is protected.

Why didn’t you do that? @whitesox Will the tarp come out 15 minutes before the water resistant? They knew it was coming. A 15-minute storm left an hour and a half rain delay to clean up the infield. Pure incompetence by the organization.
