summary
On August 16, 1983, a human skull was excavated in a trench along the southwest side of the building in Prescott, Arizona. The findings also included time capsules and heterologous human bones. The bodies are thought to belong to white men between the ages of 30 and 40. Due to limited skeletal remains recovered, investigators were unable to estimate individual height or weight.
Despite extensive research efforts, the individual is still unknown. His case was entered into Namus as UP10465. Investigators have been searching for leads for more than 40 years, but without a name, the mystery remains unsolved.
In 2025, Yabapai County medical inspectors sent skeletal relics to Othram in the hopes that advanced forensic DNA testing could generate new leads. Othram scientists leverage DNA extraction and forensic grade genome sequencing® to build comprehensive DNA profiles suitable for forensic genetic research. To cover the costs of this specialized testing and analysis, the DNASOLVES crowdfunding campaign has been launched.
Your support can make a difference in identifying this individual and reconnecting him with his family. Consider donating to the Dnasolves Fund to cover the costs of advanced DNA testing. Furthermore, if you have undergone a consumer DNA test, you can contribute by selecting forensic genetic matching to help resolve this case and such others.
