The California fire was named the Palisades Fire. It caught fire Tuesday and its ferocity forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes. In addition, the fire caused the closure of several parts of the local highway system. What makes this situation even worse is that the Palisades Fire is only one of three wildfires currently burning in Southern California. Ah, but things get even worse. Officials announced Wednesday morning that the fire was 0% contained. oh yeah.
Everything is so bad that the NHL understandably postponed the Kings-Flames game scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. local time (10:30 p.m. ET).
