Winter storms move through Flagstaff, Phoenix Arizona on Monday

Arizona, Louisiana — A big change in the forecast after a mostly sunny and mild weekend!

The first of two winter storm systems moved into the state on Monday, bringing rain and snow to the High Country.

Clouds, rain and snow keep the temperature low. Look for valley highs in the late 50s and country highs in the mid-30s to his mid-50s.

Action will be suspended Monday night through Tuesday morning before the arrival of a second, more powerful system.

A Winter Weather Warning is posted for Northern Arizona through Wednesday morning. Along with several inches of snow, the roads will be slippery and winds of 40 to 55 mph will be blowing.
