On December 2, the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, Arizona, issued a winter weather warning for areas of northern Arizona above 5,000 feet.
The advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 until 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, with up to 6 inches of snow expected in cities including Flagstaff, Williams, Grand Canyon Village, Jacob Lake, Valle and Fredonia.
