Woman Allegedly Hired Hitman From ‘Online Killers Market’ After Match Said He Was Leaving State To Marry Someone Else

Sasser reportedly befriended the man on Match.com because of their shared passion for hiking. ABC News reports that Sasser turned to the dark web after learning the man was planning to move out of state to marry another woman. She provided specific details about the man’s future wife, including her home and work addresses, the car she drives and information about her daily life, according to the complaint cited by the Times.

The screenshot shows Sasser saying, “It has to look random, or [an] Incident. Or if you plant drugs, you don’t want a lengthy investigation,” the paper reported.

In late March, the woman showed impatience and asked for the latest information. “I’ve waited two months and 11 days and the job is still not done… What’s behind? When will it be done,” Sasser wrote, ABC reported.

Sasser is now scheduled to appear in federal court on Thursday, ABC reported.
