Christine Chavez, 27, was believed to have been chopped up by a landscaper on a lawnmower while she was sleeping in the grass at Beard Brook Park in Modesto around noon on Saturday, July 8. It is said to be ABC10 news coverage. A Grover Landscape Services (GLS) employee was mowing grass using a mower attached to the back of a John Deere tractor, according to local police reports. The employee found the body in an area that had already been mowed and called 911, according to the newspaper.
