A Louisiana woman was arrested Wednesday for failing to alert first responders to a suspected overdose in a child.
Rosizena Moore, 34, of Morgan City, was arrested on multiple charges, including child abuse. according to WAFB 9. Investigators suspect the 2-year-old ingested THC gummies around 2 a.m. on tuesday. Moore woke up to find her child in a medical emergency but waited two hours before calling for her help, during which time authorities believe she was trying to hide her evidence. the same media pointed out.

Morgan Police Chief Chad Adams said medical personnel were already on the scene and were helping the child by the time police arrived. report Fox 15.
WAFB 9 noted that authorities suspect the child got out of bed early in the morning, found THC gummies within reach and ingested them. When paramedics arrived, they took the child to a medical facility, where the child was said to be in stable condition, the report said.

Moore was booked into the Morgan City Jail on charges of second-degree abuse of a juvenile, obstruction of justice, failure to assist, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of drugs.
