Yavapai College launched the Sedona School of Culinary. The school hosts a menu of recreational cooking classes to help you make better meals at home.
The Sedona School of Culinary specializes in international cuisine that combines the best ingredients grown in the Verde Valley. Enjoy a variety of easy bread making classes just for you, for the craftsman at heart!
Each class offers a unique culinary learning experience with expert chefs Karl Miller and Mark Reese. In class you will learn to prepare and cook delicious meals, appetizers and desserts perfect for lunch and dinner. Each guest can collaborate with other participants and chefs during the preparation process to learn the culinary background and cooking techniques used by the world’s best trained chefs. You can have fun!
“As we know, food brings people together, from cooking to communal dining to social interaction,” said Chef Carl Miller, director of culinary arts at Yavapai College.
Examples of classes include Farm to Fork, Artisan Pizza and Wine, Middle Eastern, New England, Pasta and Sauces, Mediterranean, Artisan Bread Making, Pretzels and Beer Cheese, Gluten Free Baking, and Occasional Cakes.
Classes begin June 6 and are scheduled through July at the Yavapai College Sedona Center, 4215 Arts Village Drive, Sedona, Arizona 86336.
Classes are 2-3 hours and registration is required.
