The ACA implements a three-tier strategy for economic growth: Recruitment, Growth, and Creation. This approach focuses on attracting out-of-state companies, collaborating with existing local businesses for expansion, and supporting entrepreneurs to develop new opportunities within targeted industries.
Governed by a notable public-private board that unites experts from industry, academia, and government, the ACA’s efforts are chaired by Governor Katie Hobbs. This board includes respected business leaders, university and college presidents, and elected officials from the state.
The day-to-day operations of the ACA will be managed by an Executive Management Team dedicated to attracting quality businesses and job opportunities in Arizona. This team consists of talented individuals skilled in economic development and management.
The Coordination Council of Arizona Community Colleges aims to enhance public awareness regarding the vital role community colleges play. It advocates for strong legislative support and partners strategically to advance initiatives for student success in Arizona.
Yabapai College operates seven campuses and centers throughout Yabapai County, offering a wide range of programs including over 100 certificates, four bachelor’s degrees, community service, and various cultural activities.
