Yavapai College to Host Three Open Houses

Yavapai College will host open houses for prospective students at three locations this spring and summer.

The open house is free and open to all current and recent high school graduates, parents, working adults looking to upskill, upskill, make a career change, and anyone interested in a YC class. Open to the general public and prospective students of all ages.

Each open house provides one-on-one support from YC’s team of experts who can help students apply and enroll, and provide information on financial aid, scholarships, academic programs, and all other student resources.

Additionally, each open house attendee will receive a tour of the campus or center.

About Verde Valley Campus

Yavapai College Verde Valley Campus in Clarkdale is a beautiful, state-of-the-art campus that offers over a dozen degree programs, nearly 20 certification programs, and courses ranging from accounting to viticulture.

The campus includes well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, a modern library, student union, art gallery and art center, learning center, fitness center, veterans program, iconic Maberley Pavilion, and other community gathering places. . About the Center for Career and Technical Education (CTEC)

The Career and Technical Education Center houses many of Yavapai College’s trade and technical programs. State-of-the-art facilities accommodate programs and equipment that require large areas to house specific equipment. This center provides students with a hands-on learning environment for many technical, trade, and applied technology programs.

Registration for the fall semester begins on April 17th and classes begin on August 12th.
