Yavapai County Golden Plate Award Winners Announced

It's that time of year again when Yavapai County Regional Health Services, Food Safety Industry Council, and University of Arizona Cooperative Extension announce Golden Plate Award winners.

This award recognizes food service businesses in Yavapai County that have achieved the three key fundamental criteria of the Golden Plate Award.

  • Operates without any cited Priority or Priority Foundation food handling violations during the entire 2023 calendar year.
  • Has an approved and implemented food safety plan.
  • Throughout the year, we have personnel with currently approved manager-level food safety certifications.

Although these standards may seem routine, maintaining healthy food and environmental standards requires significant effort and planning. Companies that receive this award truly demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Quad-City area food service businesses will be presented with the Golden Plate Award at the regular Board of Supervisors meeting on March 6, 2024 in Prescott, 1015 Fair St. Verde Valley's award-winning eateries will be honored at the regular Board of Supervisors meeting on March 20, 2024 at Cottonwood (10 S. 6th St.).
