Kenny VanKeuren has made the decision to step down after more than 30 years as facility manager. We wish you all the best in your future retirement.

During this time, Yavapai County Facilities Assistant Director Brandon Scholz has stood in Kenny’s shadow, watching closely and learning from one of the brightest in the field. On July 17, 2023, Brandon Scholz was elected the next Yavapai County Facilities Director.
Yavapai County Supervisory Board Chairman James Gregory said, “It has been great working with both Kenny and Brandon over the last few years. One of the reasons he was wisely chosen for this important position is that he was seen in. As a facilities director, Kenny’s leadership skills are legendary and he will be missed. prize.”

Brandon Scholz said: “Working with Kenny over the past five years has provided me with an incredible opportunity to observe and learn from the successes and challenges faced by this great leader. I am grateful for the opportunity.”
A 10-year member of the Yavapai County team, Brandon’s journey began as a CAD specialist in the facilities department. Prior to joining Yavapai County, he worked as a Civil Design and Planning Specialist at Universal Engineering in Maricopa County, Arizona.
