Phil Goode – Re-election Candidate for Prescott Mayor
Purpose – Why Phil is running for re-election as mayor

Cathy Lusing – Councilman and Prescott City Council Candidate
I am a lifelong Republican. I was born at Walter Reed Army Hospital. My father was a career Air Force. We “landed” in Arizona in his 1965 and I’m an “Arizona Girl” ever since. I graduated from the Australian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and soon married Dr. Tom Rusing, a longtime resident of Prescott. I worked as an RN for 10 years. We supported our family and returned to Prescott in 1986 to begin our surgical practice. We are proud parents of her three boys. Prescott is home to four generations of his Rousing family.

Connie Canterme – City Council and Prescott City Council Candidate
Connie Canterme is the current City Councilor appointed by the City Council and Mayor after a competitive process was conducted to fill the vacancy caused by Jessica Hall’s resignation in 2022. Connie’s appointment is pending the next election, and she is currently running for the next election. Fill out the remaining two years of her term.
Connie serves the City of Prescott, the Prescott Community, and the City of Prescott Homeless Resolution Commission, the City of Prescott Economic Advisory Board, the City of Prescott Sober Housing Task Force, the City of Prescott Advisory and Appeals Commission, and the City of Phoenix Arts Commission. She also serves on the Phoenix Historic Preservation Commission and is a member of the Arizona Registry of Contractors.
Connie has a background in general contracting, custom home construction and design, real estate investment, historic home renovations, and consulting. She purchased and renovated 13 of her historic homes in the Prescott Historic District and has advocated for Washington/Goodwin infrastructure and street projects for over five years. This included gas, water, sidewalks and pavement, and as a resident I worked with the city to ensure the project went on schedule. She also worked with the city to complete improvements to the Cortez/Carlton Road.

Lois is a dedicated community leader who volunteers her time and talents to the community. I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in a blue collar neighborhood in Southern Jersey.
