Yavapai SBDC Director Joins USMCA Counselors
The Yavapai Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has announced that its director, Ruth Ellen Ellinski, is collaborating with the US Small Business Export and Trade Agency as part of the US and Mexico Canada (USMCA) Small Business Counselors. This exclusive network aims to foster cross-border collaboration, enhance international trade, and support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses across North America.
Ruth Ellen’s recognition reflects her commitment to Arizona’s small business community and the SBDC’s role in encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship. As a participant in this group, she’ll connect with international colleagues, share effective strategies, and create opportunities for local businesses to succeed globally.
“This recognition not only underscores Ruth Ellen’s valuable contributions but also reinforces Yavapai SBDC’s reputation as a key player in local and global business development,” noted Vincent Redgrave, executive director of industry and innovation at Yavapai University.
Ruth Ellen is a graduate and former board member of Verde Valley Leadership. She also serves on the Cottonwood Oak Creek School District steering committee and is associated with the Flynn Brown Leadership Academy of Arizona Civic Leadership. She has a degree in public affairs and management from Indiana University.
