YUMA, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) has arrested a Yuma ethnic man in connection with an overnight robbery in Chevron.

YCSO says this happened around 1:00 am on February 2nd. The YCSO also stated that the robbery took him to W. 8th Street and S Avenue C.

When deputies arrived, they learned that the suspect had entered the store, approached the clerk, and demanded money. Staff cooperated and no one was injured. The suspect then fled the store with the cash.

During the investigation, investigators took breaks through surveillance footage and were able to identify both the vehicle and the suspect.

The YCSO arrested suspect Justin Decker, 34, in Yuma on February 14. They then put Decker in the Yuma County Detention Center.
