YCSO offers additional $35K reward for suspect in Prescott Valley arsons

Prescott Valley, AZ (AZFamily)— Yavapai County Sheriff's Office $35,000 Reward We are seeking information leading to the arrest of a suspect in an arson and vandalism incident in Prescott Valley.

This is in addition to the $10,000 reward the ATF announced over the weekend.

Authorities believe the suspects are responsible for a massive fire that broke out at the Legado Luxury Apartments on April 1. The blaze destroyed the complex, which was still under construction, and caused $60 million in damages.

The same individual is believed to be responsible for two incidents of vandalism at Bradshaw Mountain High School, including an electrical box fire. Damage to the school is estimated at $60,000. No injuries were reported as a result of the crimes.

Due to the recent criminal activity, the Humboldt Unified School District closed all schools on Friday “out of an abundance of caution.”

The suspect, believed to be a man, was seen on security cameras at the high school wearing all black clothing, a backpack and what appeared to be a gas mask with a headlamp and camera attached.
