The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputy is searching for a man who has been missing and missing for the past 15 days. Dewey’s woman called the sheriff’s office and reported that her brother was “in arrears.” She said it was normal for him to “go dark” for about four or five days, but she hadn’t heard from him. She told lawmakers that she was worried her brother, Leviticus “Levi” Smith, 29, was so depressed that his phone was off. Levi briefly resides in the Dewey area, and was last sighted in the Antelope Creek area outside Mayer. He drives a blue sedan and has a white travel trailer with wooden doors. The legislators searched many locations without success, but were given an address off Dewey’s Outback Road through Levi’s colleague, with a trailer and car similar to the description, but Levi wasn’t there. Later the same day, a vehicle matching the description was found, with his wallet and mobile phone in it. The vehicle was there for “three to four weeks.” Levi is a Caucasian male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 152 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding Levi’s whereabouts should contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3629 or call the Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
